Blockchain technology, initially recognized as the foundation of cryptocurrencies, has transformed into an innovative tool with applications beyond crypto. Due to its qualities such as immutability, transparency, decentralization, and security, it is being adopted across various domains. It helps industries keep sensitive data more secure and tamper-proof, making it one of the most reliable tools in history for storing critical information. In this paper, we discuss the applications of blockchain in different sectors such as voting systems, digital twins, HR management, and supply chain management. This paper also highlights the market growth of blockchain, the challenges it faces, and its energy consumption. Overall, this study provides a comprehensive overview of how blockchain can revolutionize different sectors for their betterment.
