Real-time code collaboration is essential in remote software development. This paper explores its implementation using React.js, Node.js, and Socket.IO. Benefits include enhanced productivity, improved code quality, and better communication. Challenges and future directions are also discussed. The rising demand for seamless collaboration highlights the limitations in existing platforms. A new web application using React.js, Node.js, Express, and Socket.io is presented. It enables synchronous editing with private rooms and role-based access. Findings show minimal latency, making it a viable alternative to current solutions.
