Abstract

This paper presents a study on designing and implementing a reward redemption system to improve parent-child relationships. The system is based on principles of positive reinforcement and aims to encourage desirable behaviours in children while fostering mutual respect between parents and children. In addition, we also found that the reward value exhaustion issue is real. Our efforts through this system will encourage parents to be involved actively in nurturing, educating, and motivating their children and create a healthy environment at home. The study employed a mixed methods approach, including surveys, interviews, and behavioural observations, to assess the impact of the system on family dynamics. Results indicate a positive correlation between implementing the reward redemption system and improving child behaviour, parent-child communication, and overall family harmony. The findings suggest that reward redemption systems can effectively promote positive interactions within families and foster healthy development in children.
