Abstract

Wireless networks are inherently vulnerable to security threats due to their open communication medium. Among these threats, jamming attacks especially selective jamming attacks pose significant risks, as they can disrupt critical communications with minimal effort. Traditional anti-jamming methods primarily defend against external attackers, but fall short when adversaries possess internal knowledge of network protocols and secrets. This project addresses the challenge of selective jamming under an internal threat model, where attackers leverage their insight to classify and jam high-importance packets in real time. The system developed in this project employs advanced techniques such as real-time packet classification mitigation, Strong Hiding Commitment Scheme (SHCS), and Cryptographic Puzzle Hiding Scheme (CPHS).
