Bowling AR Game: Immersive AR Gameplay in Real Environments

This paper is about the development of a game that transforms conventional bowling into an interactive and immersive experience with the help of Augmented Reality (AR) to make it simpler to play on mobile phones. The game eliminates the necessity for a physical bowling alley by allowing users to bowl anywhere with their smartphones. It aims to provide a realistic and interactive experience that closely resembles the experience of real-world bowling. Developed using Unity3D and the Vuforia SDK, the game has flat surface detection, realistic physics, and intuitive swipe controls to enable seamless gameplay. The project here considers the technology, design decision, and difficulties involved in making this AR bowling game that could revolutionize how casual games are played. In the future, additional features such as multiplayer mode and improved AR tracking might enhance the experience further and make it more engaging.
