The Internet of Everything (IoE) connects people, devices, and relevant systems in an unprecedented manner which uses sophisticated innovation with a broader application in most industries. It drives efficiency, automation, and decision making in areas like healthcare, smart homes, industrial automation, agriculture, and movement. In healthcare, IoT implements a remote patient’s surveillance system with smart wristbands for real-time health management and appropriate medical attention as needed. Smart homes use IoT for automated and efficient security and energy management. Industries gain from IoT-enabled predictive maintenance, streamlined supply chains, and better overall productivity. Farmers can use IoT devices for precision agriculture, control irrigation systems, and supervise livestock, making active use of resources while growing productivity. In the field of transportation, IoT facilitates components in the automatic steering of traffic, monitoring of the vehicles, tracking them and responding promptly to queries, and fleet management and as a result safer and more effective transportation systems. The Internet of Things is surrounded by many beneficial applications, but its most prevalent drawbacks are related to the lack of security and privacy. Still, the continuous improvements of IoT are driving the digital transformation with adopted environmental protection measures, which improves efficiency in multiple fields.
